Leah brings to the team experience in project management, sales, marketing, and operations. Leah began working in the solar industry in 2015 after graduating from St. Norbert College. She was instantly drawn to the environmental and financial benefits that solar delivers.

Leah has designed 1,000’s of solar systems. “I pride myself in designing every system as if it were going to be on my own home. Everything from quality and price to aesthetics comes into consideration.”

In her free time Leah enjoys fishing, being on the water and hiking. Leah is the "keystone" to our team!

Lead Installer

Johnson first worked with off-grid solar power systems in his home city of Kathmandu, Nepal. He was the lead technician with an American-owned renewable energy company based out of Kathmandu, which won the bid for many large projects in the country, including a 50 KW system for the United States Embassy.

After moving to the United States in 2016, he has continued to work on  hundreds of projects within the upper Midwest.

Coming from a country of limited resources, the options for using renewable energy are compelling and thrilling for me. I love what I do, and am proud of the systems we design and build for our customers.

In my free time, I freelance in photography. Because of my love for photography, I am able to take all the photos of our jobs which are used for our website, Instagram, Facebook posts, and marketing material. I work with the owners of MN Solar on all of our Social Media platforms and really enjoy working and learning more about that part of our company. The owners of MN Solar encourage us to step out of our roles and grow professionally and personally.

Greg has been installing solar since the spring of 2016. He became interested in renewable energy, specifically solar, while attending college at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls where he worked with local non-profits and campus organizations on key energy policies such as the Keystone XL Pipeline.

"I'm happy to be able to combine my two passions of construction and environmentalism as a solar professional. In my free time I am a kayak guide on the Mississippi River. I also volunteer with my local farmers market and try to skateboard and snowboard as much as I can".
